IM doesn't give you cards, Steam gives you the cards - once only per non-free game. If steam says no card drops remaining then it won't give you card drops.

Steam says you've played Rainbow Six Siege and CS:GO etc for many hours in which case you would of already have had the card drops for those games.

See your badge page for "card drops remaining". Free games don't drop cards unless you spend a lot of money on DLCs or micro-transactions.

You can use your phone to idle if it's android with 'idle daddy'.

Set your profile to invisible whilst idling. (Right click the tray icon > invisible)

If the login page isn't asking for auth then IE is probably using some old cached version, that needs to be cleared by deleting IE internet history/cache, clear IE steam cookies etc.

Is the Steam client running?
Did the login page ask for authenticator code?

IE (internet options) delete all browsing history, reset security zones.to default.
Delete the appdata folder for IM extended.
