Idle Master is easier than SAM.

You download IM, run it, and sign in. It does all the idling and game switching automatically. As far as I know SAM does not automatically switch games for you so you can't just run it and let it sit in the background without monitoring it manual for card drop completion.

It's a alternative for Idle Master Helper not for Idle Master. Idle Master is the still best one.

Not for me it's not. Getting no help with my issue at all (where it continues to idle another game simultaneously in the background thereby preventing other games dropping cards). Will have to start using this SAM as I'm having too many issues with Idle Master.

Still encountering the problem with another game running in the background while another game is being displayed. No cards were dropping after a while and tried to close Steam, but then got a message saying it was 'waiting for Depths of Fear :: Knossos to close' which was running in the background preventing any other game from dropping cards and now having accrued 25hrs when I've never played it my life! Now that I'm on holiday I'm going to the Rugby World Cup and will be leaving the computer on, but can't be having this happen all the time.

I've got an issue with IM.

I've noticed that a lot of the time, my games continue to idle in the background even though on the IM interface it shows another game. I noticed that after I tried to reset Steam due to no card drops, it refused to close unless I stopped a game that was apparently running in the background. One example is AI War: Fleet Command (http://psteamproxy.yuanyoumao.com/app/40400) in which I've now accrued 34 hrs playing time even though I've never installed the game before; it was continuing to idle/run in the background thereby preventing the current game that was supposed to be idling from dropping any cards.

I'd noticed it did the same again with ROCKETSROCKETSROCKETS (http://psteamproxy.yuanyoumao.com/app/289760) and in which I've now accrued 14.8 hrs, after I'd tried to reset Steam again after noticing the game that it was supposed to be idling (Camera Obscura) hadn't dropped any cards even after 12 hrs.

Any help would be appreciated.
