Correct.

As long as you do not connect to a VAC enabled server you should not get VAC baned for using Idle Master. Idle Master does not connect to any game server so it will not get you banned on its own.

Last official word I've seen, having multiple games will give you drops but at a reduced rate. There's been some reports that it will prevent drops, but I haven't seen any decent tests to confirm this.

If you're playing a second game, it's advised that you do not connect to a VAC enabled server since it may flag IM as a malicious program.

It will idle any game that your account has remaining drops for. You do not need to have the game installed

For non-F2P games to grant you free drops you must own the game through Steam. Free Weekends and games accessed through Family Sharing do not count as ownership.

Also of note, non-F2P games only give half (rounded up) of the total number of cards in the set. Duplicate cards will count against that number. Selling/Trading/Using these cards does not give you more free cards.

Double check your Badges page to make sure you have drops remaining. Looks like you only own 1 non-F2P STC enabled game (CS:GO) and you have more than enough play time to have received all your free cards.

With a handful of exceptions, F2P games do not provide free cards. You must spend 9$US for each drop for Free-to-Play games.

You need to input the full path to Idle Master. The command will be something along the lines of "c:\Program Files (x86)\Idle Master\steam-idle.exe" 730

I don't use the windows version so I'm not certain on the exact directory. And if you're using the Portable version, it will likely be completely different.

Idle Master does not have its own interpreter, you will need to use Windows's command prompt. You do not need to run CS:GO, you do not even need to have the game installed.

You will need to keep Idle Master, and by extension your computer, running during the idling process. To the best of my knowledge there is no way to pad your playtime without keeping a computer running. If your computer is to loud then your options are either getting quieter fans or getting an off-site computer to run the necessary programs.

Running multiple games at once will not trigger a VAC ban, regardless if you're using a third party program to accomplish it or just opening multiple games through Steam.

Connecting to a VAC enabled server while running Idle Master may trigger a VAC ban. To be safe, it's advised that you close IM before connecting to a multiplayer server.

Can Idle Master be used to pad my playtime of a particular game?

The steam-idle.exe application that's included with Idle Master can be given a command line argument of the appid of the game you'd like to idle. For example, if you'd like to idle Team Fortress 2 for playtime, you can simply run "steam-idle.exe 440" from a command prompt. There is no user interface for this, it must be done through the command line.
