4 cards in 8 hours seems awfully high, I personally have been getting 1 drop every 30 minutes since they removed the mandatory 2 hour before normal drops start.

Idle Master will have the same drop time as actually running the game. Unless you plan on playing the game, there's no advantage to spending the time downloading the game in order to manually idle it.

The number of cards is set by Valve, there's nothing JShackles can do.

In short, you can play a different game than the one you're idling.

In order to get cards from non-Free2Play games you must own that game. Whether you spent money or not is irrelevant. For example, Indie Gala is offering keys for Gun Metal for free. If you get a key, you will be able to activate the game on your account and will be able to get cards from it.

Free2Play games do not give cards just for adding them to your Library, they only give cards for spending money on them. Specifically 1 card drop for every 9$US.

Although most people do actually purchase games. Bundle sites like Humble Bundle are good for getting a bunch of games at a cheap price. We're a couple weeks away from Steam's Winter Sale that will have some decent discounts.

Got card from Hostile Waters after 30 minutes, started Shadowgate about 27 minutes into the idle so not sure how much of an impact it had. 30 minutes is what I normally see in the drop timer. I'll leave Shadowgate running to see if it has an impact on the remaining 2 drop times.

I've already received all of my cards for Shadowgate.

In addition to the normal "half set (rounded up)" (I.E. 3) for owning the game, CS:GO also has the F2P method of 1 drop every 9$US.

Free-2-Play games do not provide cards just for adding them to your library, you must spend 9$US for each drop. Non-F2P games give half (rounded up) the number of cards in the set. duplicates will count against your allotment of cards. Trading/Selling/Using will not give you additional/replacement drops.

I have the same problem.It says idling complete. And I haven't got all cards for DOTA2 or for CS_GO.

Post a screen shot of your Badges page showing either/both of those games?

DotA2 is a F2P games, you do not get card for adding it to your Library. You receive 1 drop for every 9$US you spend on it's DLC or in-game shop.
CS:GO gives 3 cards for playing, you have 3 cards in your inventory. Unless you purchased/traded for those cards I'd assume you received your free cards.

You do not get replacement cards if you use/sell/trade away the cards. You get a finite number of cards per game and that's it. Whether you use a program like Idle Master or actually run the game will not change that.
