Im logged in with the old login method. So my question is wheter it is needed to have the browser open from where i am logged in the steam community or if i could close it while idle master is active?

It works for me now, try to use the old login options that should work.

i have the same problem, even after deleting the folder in local, reinstalling and other minor things.
