Probably the fact you have no cards left to get for free from idling / playing games.

To see if you have cards left go to your badge page. Any game that you own that has cards will have a green PLAY button on it's badge banner.

If there is no PLAY button then no games you own have cards anymore.

It is highly unlikely you got a VAC ban from using IM and CS:GO at the same time.

If you did you are the first .. so I guess congratulations??

This is your SECOND VAC ban so there is another reason to not think it was IM. I would suggest interrigating your brother for the truth (which you probably already know anyway) cause its more likely he cheated in CS:GO and got you VAC banned.

Also VAC bans can not be reversed. Valve/Steam WILL NOT do it.

There was a way posted somewhere back about how to idle any game you want. The subject was about padding game time.

Having this as an actual feature is not what this program was meant to do so I do not ever see it getting added to IM.

But if all it requires to review a game is you have 5 mins on the play timer then why can't you just run it for a few mins before reviewing it.

To actually give a good honest review one would actually need to download and play the game. I would think it would take at least 5 mins of play time to even consider a point of view on a game.

Honestly I see no reason to even keep a manual list of cards. I not sure what purpose it would really serve .. at least for me anyway.

But if that's your thing then there is no reason why you should stop.

If Steam says you have cards for a game then IM will idle for them.

IM can not get you cards that you have not earned. It is not magical :P (Unfortuntally)

There has to be a reason why you got access to the cards for that game. Did you buy the DLC? That may have triggered the cards.

But no you are at no risk for anything.

Guess I will answer this again .. use search people amazing what it does.

Card drops are not unlimited. Each game has a set amount of free drops from playing / idling the game.

After that you need to buy or trade for the rest.

I think the issues are with the IM servers that host the program files and what not.

The author said the reason for not being able to use the idle by value option was because the IM servers where down for a little maintainence.

This is probably the same reason why some people can not install the program. If the server thjat hosts the files is down then the installer will error out.

Maybe a better error message saying this would help people.
