When I had that problem I also tried to sign out/in and it did not fix it.

ahh .. you said install so I thought you meant the setup.exe you get when you click the download button. The portable one is standalone and does not need to be installed hence the confusion.

Yes. if you have more than 30 games to get to 2 hours it will get all the games you have under two hours to the two hour mark in batches of 30 before it switches and idles them one at a time for card drops.

If you have 707 games to get to the 2 hour mark and IM did NOT do this it woud take you 4x as long...

As an example:
Say you have 10 games that need 2 hours before they will get card drops.

If you where to idle them one at a time it would be 2 hours for each game before cards dropped then an additional 2-3 hours per game for the actual card doprs to finish. Total time to get all cards without IM doing the mass game idle first would be 40-50 hours.

With the mass idle feature the 10 games would take 2 hours to get to the point where they can drop cards (8 hours less than if done individually) and an additional 2-3 hours per game for the card drops. Total time would be 32-42 hours.

No do the math with the 700 games you have :P

It will take Idle Master approx. 48 hours to get 700 games to the required 2 hour mark for card drops.

Well at least it is showing that it is reading the badge page. :)

TLDR: It is getting 31 games to the 2 hour mark. If a game has less than 2 hours it will not drop cards. Once all your games are at 2 hours it will start to idle your games 1 at a time and cards will start to drop.

Your OP said nothing about the fact that all your games where already past the 2 hours mark. That is why I directed you to the Sticky here. It explaind the increase of time. So my advice was not usless considering I did not have all the details.

As to the increase in time that is something I can not explain. But what I can tell you is that Idle Master has nothing to do with actual drop times. Drop times are set by Valve and the game publisher. IM can in no way manipulate this and cause an increase or decrease drop rates.

If IM is running and Steam shows you are in a game that's is. Thats all IM does. Cards will drop at the rate they where set to. Some games tak a lot longer than others.
