Not happened to me. Perhaps you just got infected by different adware you installed yourself.

Then why did you cheat? Cheater with VAC ban has no ground on questioning things.

Just FYI I've been playing Dota 2 with Idle Master on. For HUNDREDS hours. No VAC ban, no suspension whatsoever.

Well i added jshackles last night, my intentions were to praise the software and ask the same question, but after doing some research i got the answer.

I started using Idle Master yesterday and by accident i forgot to close it and joined a tf2 vac secured server, i realized 5 minutes later that i didn't close it and got a little worried.

IMO there is no risk by joining a vac server while idling in a game, basically all that it does is run a game, pretty sure vac has nothing "suspicious" to detect since it's not connected with TF2 itself or any vac game in particular, but even if that might be the case it's best not to join any vac servers while running it, as the owner of it recommended.

I regret the small mistake of forgetting to close the program before joining the server, i really hope this won't have any consequences, normally it shouldn't since nobody got vac'd by this in the past so hopefully it won't happen in the future, i definitely learned to be more careful and gonna double check from now on.

Once again, gratz on the software, this makes any game collector/badge collector's life easier.

Guess I'll mark this thread and check from time to time to see if you're VAC banned or not in the coming weeks. :P
