Idle Master idles uninstalled games. Is that safe?
Title. I just noticed that Idle Master idles uninstalled games too, and yes, cards do drop. How safe is that?
I know it doesn't need the game to be installed because it just use its steamid, but what if Valve doesn't like it for some reason?
Just wanted to be sure :)
Also, wanted to thank the devs for all the hardwork they're putting in this :)

Yes, it's safe. The Steam servers that Idle Master reports to don't have any way of knowing whether the game is actually installed or not.

If fact, rather than Valve taking issue with it, I bet they're quite happy with the arrangement - they don't waste gigabytes and gigabytes of bandwidth delivering games that people don't actually want to play, and still reap the benefits of users getting Steam Trading Cards.

Can one make it only idle games that are not installed? Would be a nifty way to just get cards for ones you won't play, instead of blacklisting for ages. Yes im lazy. :)
