1) What version are you using?
2) What exactly do you see - "X games left to idle, Y idle now" - what is X and Y?
3) Do you see "Currently in-game" + game name?
4) Do you see timer in bottom right corner?
5) Do you see steam-idle.exe process in Task Manager?
yeah i ran it so it idle several games at once as ive bought about 30 in past 2 days, so theyve all been idle over 2 hours each now, all done and cards starting to drop
Is the problem with using the idle program or just steam in general. I ask because I haven't tried to drop any cards in almost 3 months since before the summer sale and the refund change so I'm not sure if the drop rates have been played with.
Well im playing cs:go and ive got card drops?
I often take a look at "friends" - Right click the steam icon and choose "Friends" - Then look at the top and see if it says online or in a game :)
My IM said it was in a game but steam just said online :)
You can simulate this problem for example with game you activated with VPN and you can't run. But I think all is fixed now and IM checks if steam-idle.exe is running or not.
Steam changed card drops to not drop before the 2 hour mark to combat people buying games, idling the cards, and then returning the game and keeping the cards. What IM seems to be doing is getting you past the period of non-drops (2 hours) and then doing a one-at-a-time idle.
From the first line of the update:
"Idle Master now has an option to either idle games individually or idle games simultaneously up to two hours, then individually. While simultaneous idling in this case is more effective, some people wanted the option of idling games individually."
