Idle Master as non-Steam game - display in status
I know what I want is just cosmetics, but is there a way to use Idle Master as a non-Steam game and have it show as your "current playing" game during the whole idling process? I managed to add it as a non-Steam game and it shows as "Now playing" while it loads the badge pages, but as soon as it starts idling, it gets replaced by the game being idle.

Is there a way around that?

Try this: set up IdleMaster as a non-Steam game in your Library. Then, open IdleMaster up from your desktop or wherever you have it installed. After that, go back to Steam and launch it as a game. It should open a seperate tab from the original one you had open.

From there, just close the original tab of IdleMaster, the one you didn't launch from Steam, and it should say that you're playing IdleMaster. Check out my profile, I'm doing it right now actually :)

Thanks, it worked. For future reference, I had to wait for a game to start being idled on the first stance of IdleMaster in order to open/close the other one. You can't do it while it's loading the badge pages.

Still a few tests I wanna make, not sure if you know the answers:

* What happens when the game being idled is closed by IM and another one opens?
It will show the new game name, which totally ruins the purpose... =/

* What happens if I run an actual Steam game to play?
It will show the actual game I'm playing while it's open, then return normally to "Idle Master"
