When Idle Master says 'Idling complete' then we know it's working because that means it has read your badge page(s) and seen that you have no card drops remaining - it says this next to every game you have on the badge page.
Idle Master does not give you cards, Steam gives you the cards, Idle Master reads your steam badge page and looks for 'N card drops remaining' where N is more than zero. When it finds a game with N>0 then it tells Steam that that game is running.
"
So then you won't get card drops, steam drops cards not idle-master, idle master just tells steam a game is playing so that steam drops the cards.
Idle Master does not give you cards, Idle master does not give anyone cards ever.
Steam gives you the cards, if you look at your badge page it will say 'cards drops remaining' - that is how many cards Steam will give you.
All Idle Master does is it tells steam a game is being played, so that if there are card drops remaining then steam will give you those cards when the game is played for long enough.
Using Idle master is no different than playing the games one by one, it just saves you from having to download or play them.
