You don't need to install or play games, Idle Master do this all for you. You can check the FAQ btw.

the idie not idie in games like h1z1/tf2/all free games but the have cards...

Idle master does not give you cards. Valve/Steam give you cards, idlemaster is just a means to acquire them easier.

Free games do not drop cards for free. They give 1 card per roughly $15 USD spent in microtransactions(as a bonus on top of what you get for your money). The idea there is that if all free games could be farmed free then the cards wouldn't be worth dog turd by now (EVERYONE would've done it to death already).

If you check your badge page you can see any badge which has "card drops available" which are your remaining valid candidates for idle master,
