Lol, Valve censoring their own site now!! CardIdleRemastered whilst a bit fiddly and buggy is still easier to use than IM if you want to farm some cards quickly.

For example:
650 cards from 186 games in 3-4 days even with 3hour before 1st card in set.

not really, I think they both should be added, because that is how steam send them

(and with some new features which are not yet released :P)

I'm finding sometimes when idling games simultaneously it sometimes gets stuck on a game - for example it'll start games 1-11 and not start games 12-30. The bug seems to be intermittent and it isn't any particular game that causes it. This has happened maybe half a dozen times over the last week whilst idling over 200 games on 2 different profiles.

I tried to Idle a couple of games 1by1 last night with CardIdleRemastered but it seems to be having problems updating hours played and cards remaining so only 1 of the 2 games Idled.

Fastest Card Idle Method in detail:

0. Simultaneously idle all games that haven't been idled before* (30 at a time) for either 5 minutes or for 3 hours* depending on account age+refunds. Wait 1 minute before next steps.

1. Periodic switch, each game once for 10 seconds.
2. Clear Queue.
3. Pick 30 Games with the most card drops remaining.
4. Simulaneously idle games for 30 minutes. Stop. Wait 1 minute for 'settling'

Repeat steps 1-4 until all cards dropped.

*Check all games playtime and sort them by play time, pick the 30 with the least playing time.
Find the minimum playing time game from those 30. If that minimum is > 0 hours then idle the 30 games until they all have at least 3 hours play time.

Can someone encode this please? This method is reliable and at least 10-15x faster overall compared with Idling one-by-one, especially for newer and refund accounts.

There is still room for improvement here, for example if step 0 doesn't find 30 games and there are other games that have already passed (5min or 3hr) then bump up the number to 30 games by picking the games with the most card drops remaining and adding those.

My version of IM has variable hours instead of the idle 2 hours and auto skip every X seconds.
