Same here. I think something changed at VALVe and that's why Idlemaster can't connect anymore.

Yesterday changing steam language to English helped me, but it seems that day something is broken again.

UPD: I have red the neibhour topic, and there are several people who told it still work for them. There also was a guy who told that developer promiced to fix it. As far as I understodd, now Idle Master users are a kind of DDoSers for steam (after the Grand New Year Fall I suppose), so I would recommend to keep out of using Idle Master for a while. It's not a great issue since we have SAM (:
I would also suggest to change the IP, but not able check until evening.

Maybe VALVe is trying to break the Fast Idle method.

Aww, I doubt it. It was working and well known for years, why did they decide to break it now?

And it's profitable for them - more cards -> more trade -> more art money -> no need to work on HL3

Maybe they didn't like it's load on their servers.
