Not about idle complete.

I used Idle master today and I didn't get all of the trading cards for that game. I don't know if this was supposed to happen but I'm new to the community so you know. I did get 2 trading cards out of the 5. Also it only did it to one game. I know I'm a bit wanting perfection but I just wanted trading cards for gmod not the game i speak of. If knowing the game I speak about will help resolve so be it the game's name is : Overture.

You only get half a single badge, that's simply how Valve set the drops to work.

Once you gain the drops by any method (idlemaster or "normal") you cannot gain them again by any means.

Aw, thanks for the help. Worst thing about it is I can't finish the badge. :p

Yeah that's by design. You're meant to pray for booster packs (not actually viable, I have around 100+ card games and I get 1 or 2 boosters a month. It only gets worse the fewer games you got), trade with other users or buy the cards on the market. The last one allows Valve and the game dev to pocket some of your money in taxes.

Buy from the community market or trade for the rest. Sometimes it's cheaper to buy a booster pack than 3 cards. Trading is quicker with steam trade matcher. Having enhanced steam Browser plugin can help too.
