Steam Remote Play launches game and disconnects from the stream without any error message

Game is still running, but steam will close the stream within seconds of trying to connect to it.
This only started happening a week ago. I only changed my displays 2-3 weeks ago but I haven't had any issues with the new set up, and I have the same resolution and refresh rate across my devices.
Anyone else have this issue?

what client?

check the steam link forum, and subforums for each client type
there are updates to the apps and on the link hardware

Can confirm this actually helps. So I guess it's a bug with the latest release version of Steam.
