There are three parts to it. When the video first starts (with Steam in the background) the mouse movement you see is me using the Steam Controller mouse pad. As you can see the movement is smooth.
Next I open the game currently being streamed to the box via Remote Play. Notice how choppy the mouse movements become.
Finally, while still streaming the game, I switch to my actual mouse and you can see how smooth the movements are again.
I'm flummoxed, so any help will be happily received!
Thanks.
During remote play the cursor is choppy when using the steam controller, but only on the client side. I can walk to the host and movement is buttery smooth there.
Using a mouse on the client side is also smooth.
As a workaround for now I'm using Moonlight streaming client and each time changing the game, loading the controller configuration at the client PC as desktop configuration.

May I ask about the operating system on the client and the host?
