Hey everyone! It has been a very bussy year for me, and payday has not been part of my recreational game base. However Payday 2 is closing in on us, and I for one will play that game for sure. I hope you all are still here, and I will start making events as Payday 2 closes in on us to rustle you veterans back in action, and make this group a platform for Payday 2 players old and new. Hey again Bulitt! Pretty sure its mostly due to the fact that overkill heists are extremely hard to do with no gear, so it can turn in to quite a few hours of frustration instead of hours of earning cash by owning the law.

Not everyone is hunting achievements, but for those that are, this comment page is a great page to find like minded people!

Personally I take them as I get them, but I'd gladly admit that the past few days have been all about pressing the big button and live to tell the tale...

last night for fun I decided I would see how far I could get just farming sapphires on diamond heist... I managed to get to level 15 from 0 in less than 2hours... so I dont see why people who are under 30 or 40 wouldnt care to reset their rank

Well, they can reset their stats. And as of now im past lvl 100 and it has been a blast going there! Sure, I'll reset my stat at some point if we gather up to go for Noob Herder laters, but for now I need to be able to do all heists on Overkill.

And Bulitt, its that hard, yeah ;)

Some times Hard is to easy, and Overkill is just that insanely much harder than hard. Thats the charm of it ;)

Its not just the cops, its the map that changes. On panic room the only roof acces is on the front of the building, putting you in harms way several times as you complete objectives. However it forces you to think! So when I discovered you can jump down the backside down to the fire escape, without losing hp (aim for the railing), the whole thing got easier. Especially since that drugged up helicopter pilot couldn't throw C4 bags down on a building even if he was standing on it...

I figure its one of those things if I dont do it now, nobody will ever want to give up the prestige of having a high rank... I had someone swear to me they have never tried so hard and cannot go back now... and they were rank 19... he said it took him FOREVER, whereas its like maybe an hours work consisting of 2-5 runs through first world bank on normal... is this game really THAT hard for people?

Noob Herder is what it says - the whole team gets it, but 3 need to have "Noob Lube" bonus, so they are the low levels. That means ALL can be low levels, or just 3 with one guy at max or whatever...

But Idk if it's one to do until you've reset your progress back to Zero.
The first time round, the players won't have a clue what's going on or how to play properly on Overkill difficulty - like other games with similar "play with x many other level 0's", it's to encourage people to reset their stats and replay the whole thing!
(also, what if you missed an acheivement like "Lay on Hands" and were at max level?)

Therefore, I won't be doing it until I've gotten to max level, at which point I'll reset and help others to get it too! D:

my one friend has confirmed if everyone is level 5 everyone gets the achievement, if one is OVER level 5 only HE gets the achivement, my one friend has done it already

Bulitt, I guess you allready knew this but:

To get the achievement YOU have to clear the heist with ppl having Noob lube (lvl5 or less). It has not been confirmed wether YOU have to be over 5 tho, as one has to be the "herder".

At this point i've reached 90, so personally i think I'm out. Overkill is hard as hell for a reason ;) Good luck tho.

are there any people who desperately want to finish the noob herder achievement so they can carry on levelling up? add me, we've got a small group together just waiting for a solid few hours to actually attempt to beat any heist on overkill as a level 5 and under...

look i prefer skype but i dont mind using Teamspeak or Ventrilo, anyway i'm used to them because of my World of Warcraft times and others MMOs or Strategy/RPG games

Agreed. I used to host a vent server but thats years back. I know that people have different preferences when it comes to communication here, so I'll leave it up to you to decide what you want! However I will do my best to accomodate your needs by posting info about any servers we get up and running and so on
