And yes, VR would be a task I'd consider if we had a real dev team, and not just one lazy guy; namely: me.
I thought to share this. I'll give it a look and it may help others.
So - the current release of UE4 won't let me open the map (it does open a map, but all there is is a table and two chairs, some sky-lighting and that's it.)
Anyway, if we were to create the game with the Source Engine it wouldn't matter either way, and I think there are more people who know how to work with it than with UE4. P4F didn't stand out for its realistic look either.
Any other opinions? Otherwise I'll just accept this idea and get SDK.
I never left. Nothing's happening here and there's no one I can exchange ideas on how we're going to go about programming the game.
And remember: I've only done a tiny bit of C++ but I've never been bothered at settling down to understand the UE4 engine or any other library for that matter. I'm not entirely sure how tricky making this game will be but I can see it being quite a challenge that I'm not sure I'm up to yet.
Also: stop fighting. I'm offering whatever help I can to either project but I'm not going to contribute if all that's going on in the steam groups is whining and complaining.
I thought about something else, however.
What if I/we created the game on Steam's source engine? It would make greenlighting the game easier, the whole process of texturing and building would be easier, too and it would generally speed up the process. It's not about the looks, right? And I think most of the things I want to do are possible with the Source engine. Besides, it doesn't even look too bad.
Just want some opinions here.
man, you dont know?! Project Fury created a second group cuz the first group needed to change the title and description and thats not possible, only way to do that is with a new group. the old group has 322 members. so retract your false statement sir.
Also Project Fury has over 1k members else where like Facebook etc.
Though its good to see some response from this group
Hello. :D
This project isn't dead, it's in a coma and I won't wake it up as long as I'm the only one working on it. I've barely created one map, and that's it. No animations, no programming, just a map.
I'll reconsider the kickstarter campaign, but I'll want to show off what we're doing, or else people won't be interested for long and they probably won't fund us either.
Founding my own indie-studio sounds vague, either, so I'll put that idea to a rest.
And please stop preaching about another project that has less people in its group.. I bet you haven't come any further than I did.

We're looking for people who have skills in technical stuff like programming, HTML, C++, Python, 3D modelling, animation etc
Please also spread this message around so we can get more recognition, help and support!
Thanks Pro!
You havent left good impressions on your self.
You dont like my demeanor doesn't mean you have to be like a deadbeat towards people around here, show some respect!
Now have a good day sir.
