DiMa's Nick Valentine's brother, the ending to the DLC is to flood Far Harbor or not, kill DiMa, or nuke the Children of Atom. Red Death is a special mirelurk that does whatever it takes. This is what happens in fallout 4 far harbor dlc.

Hey man I think there are a couple of mods you should try for your play through.
There is a headshots mod for fallout 4.
Also there is one I think you will find particularly useful. It changes Aluminum to Aluminium.
I think that one it right up your alley
