*Everyone can access these maps while in game by typing in Chat: !mapvote
(A menu will come up and you can then select which map you wish to load)

*note* You must have the above versions in your addons folder for it to work properly. If you have other versions of any of these maps, you should probably remove them & put the above versions in there instead. (Drag & Drop the Unzipped files to your addons folder rather than double clicking the files for installation)

So at the moment, i only have "I Hate Mountains" installed on the server(only custom map that is - the regular L4D maps are in rotation). So far it works fine. I have also added a custom voting system to access the custom map(s) while in game. You simply type !mapvote in chat to pull up the menu, which has all the maps including the custom map. As i add more custom maps to the server, this menu will give everyone access to them. Keep in mind, this custom map voting system is still not fully tested. So there might be glitches. But, so far every time i have used it, the map changes without any problems. I probably won't put any custom maps in rotation, but anyone can easily access any custom maps that are on the server via the !mapvote command in chat, which will change the server to that map for all to EnJoY!

Follow that link and download the file to your desktop. Unzip the file to your desktop and then place the Unzipped File into your addons folder. Hi wonderful people !!! The server still has many zombies, but they come in waves rather than a large horde of 15 minutes lol. The specials hunt in packs. The hunters & smokers love to try to take down several people with one group attack. The boomer(s) have never enjoyed puking more. Hope you guys/ladies enjoy the current setting. Peelz can still kill ya or overdose you. Have FuN:-)

FeaRtheMoD & i collaborated on a new host banner for the server! The host banner is directly above the MOTD(message of the day) when you enter the server or it also appears to the top right when you check your ping. ThX mAn!

Well the item buy system is causing some strange sidefx so i took it off for now. So it's lots of zombies with alot of ammo to kill them with right now:-)

Hi! I just put a item buying system on the server based on kills like some of you have seen on other servers. You can buy guns, ammo, kits and such. Once you gain enough points, type in chat !usepoints or bind usepoints to a key(example) bind u usepoints(in console). To check your points type in chat !points or bind p points. At the moment the zombie hordes are large and hard to survive with just one person or even 2 people in some cases. The tanks have health based on number of players and usually are harder to kill unless you burn them. I'm trying different things on the server to see what works & to see what everyone enjoys:-)

K made some changes to the server tonight! The lag issue seems to be fixed as well as tank spawns. I made the zombie killing way more intense and tanks are harder to kill based on player count. Basically, the way the server is setup now, you have to hunker down with people and kill large amounts of zombies before you can move forward. The specials hunt in packs and are almost impossible to manage alone. The hordes will seem to go on forever, but they do have a point where they stop. But, be careful not to get boomed, or you will cause a very large, extra wave of zombies to kill. So far this setting seems to be the most fun with little to no lag and crazy amounts of zombies to massacre. Upon testing this setting with some friends, it became clear that ammo runs out 2 fast to kill all the zombies while hunker'd down. So i added huge amounts of ammo per weapon to help compensate. Other methods might be used in the future, but for now this seems to be the best option. Enjoy:-)

The server will be down for like 2 hours tonight, im going to reinstall and work on the lag and spawns.

The server is still not running like it should, tanks still sometimes do not spawn on finales properly, and the extra zombies are causing lag issues, im working on fixing those problems:-)

K the server should run smoother now. Hopefully the problem with the tanks not spawning during finale is fixed! Enjoy:-)

Hello Everyone :-) Hey, recently the server has been a bit laggy on certain days and even crashed a few times. Sorry about that! I'm working on making it more fun/interesting and at the same time trying to make it with less lag and more stable. ThX for understanding:-)

K the server is up, and it allows up to 8 people coop. I'm going to be trying different things here and there, but the server should be stable enough for us to enjoy :-)

Sometimes i start the game using the Lobby, which makes the game almost immediately show up in the public game browser. When i start the game this way, everyone can join via the chat window, console(openserverbrowser) and Group Server Browser until the 4th player has joined. After the 4th player has joined, then it seems best to join via the Group Server Browser. Because sometimes, when trying to join as the 5th-8th player(via the chat window with an Invite or Join Game), you will get a message that says the server is full. This only happens, i think, when i start the game via the Lobby(which i do sometimes to get a few public players filling a few slots until friends are online). When i simply join the server via the Group Server Browser, bypassing the Lobby, anyone should be able to join through the chat window, console & Group Server Browser.
