Got a bunch of gold/silver/platinum/palladium, and some monazite/serendibite etc.
I can move the carrier to your spot if you want to do a bit of mining? I'll buy any high value stuff at 80%, as long as I've got the cargo space and the credits for it
Friday I left the system and jumped around a bit then came back and did some mining but I'll stick around the system we're in this evening. As for when we leave, I'm just along for the ride.

In fact I'm going to scrap weekend jumps entirely. Might do it tomorrow instead, might just wait until Wednesday evening...
Probably spending a couple of hours mining, in the metallic ring of the big pink gas giant instead.
Eight Burst Nebula (also known as NGC 3132 or the Southern Ring Nebula) is a small planetary nebulae in constellation Vela, 2100 light-years from Sol. The nebula is a striking blue color and the large number of ringed bodies in the system provide for excellent scenic views. For this reason it is also known as "Celestial Gem", and a tourist beacon was established here near the second planet.

It's well worth taking a look if you haven't seen it before.
Some good planets for explorers to scan/map, including ringed HMC planets and a ringed water world, and a good few exobiology samples to collect as well. Also a good system for farming raw materials (includes all the FSD injection materials), and if you just want to do the tourist thing and take loads of screenshots, the back drop makes a nice change from most of the galaxy.
Only just got in, will be on shortly...
Looks like steam's back up for now, at least.
Have to say that it was cool to witness my first FC jump. This is fun.
50LY short of first stop... one more to go.
Jump in 15: Plio Eurl CU-D b55-1
I'd meant to get 5 jumps done by now, been a busy day lol.

Speaking of... I'm also probably going to have to delay the Tuesday jumps I had planned. That's potentially going to be as late as 0200 the next day. Might just move it entirely to the Wednesday afternoon instead... Will know more by weekend.
Right on. My ships are staged at Giraud Ring and will get loaded up well before 2000. As for trit, I was just planning on donating anything that I mined. The old saying "gas, grass or ass" comes to mind but I don't smoke weed and my arse is off limits. Doing some mining gives me something to do and allows me to feel like I'm contributing to something.
That's going to cause a slight delay.
Rescheduled for 2000hrs, same day.
Do you just need a new coin battery on the board? CR2032 or whatever?
Aw, I always wanted to go out there. Sag A was the furthest I had ever been.
The carrier is currently parked in the bubble, I'll probably send it out to meet my main once I'm about half way back.
What's up with your PC Shire? I might have spare parts if that'll help?
The void beckons...
Anyone up for a trip, starting in the next few weeks? No plan or details yet, haven't even settled on a direction... But you know me... There'll be something worth seeing.
Not built much yet, and there's not going to be any ground features... It will be a decent enough stepping stone to a little red dwarf system with about half a dozen landable planets though.
