Lol I'm not boycotting l4d2 I have the game (not the huge difference they offer besides the gore but thats besides the fact) I'm just saying Tf2 had to give up most of thier design team so hl2 ep 3 would most likely have to give up all if not most of thier team to design l4d2

Lets not become the L4D2 boycotters (yet)

Though, i feel that without L4D2, we might have ep3. 1 year between l4d and l4d2, 2-3 years between ep2 and now.

Then again, Valve time is always a factor.

l4d2 is guilty for valve not showing ep3 and you can tell because they even had to take people off of tf2 to go work on l4d2 and tf2 design isnt even close to l4d2 they just used thier whole company base to put it out.

I wouldn't say L4D2 was guilty for VALVe not showing Ep3. If they are willing to show something related to episode 3, they could have already released more art - not just those 2 (or 3 idk) art pics on the net. I'm sure they are keeping everything a secret on purpose. After all - iit's the last game in the current story - after that they will maybe release Half-Life 3 with different characters (maybe about the 7 hours war), but with a copletely modified source engine. Maybe source 2.0 ? - who knows. For all we know, they may have already build the new engine for epi3, and have just started making the game 0.o

We don't know sh*t right now, so every theory is considered plausible :/

they cannot do a hl3 without finishing up hl2 that wouldnt make sence. From the way valve has always made the hl series each game so far is a different contract for freeman if they ended it without explaining it or randomly switch ep 3 to be called hl3 that would be right and would disapont many

They may have said it, but that doesn't mean they aren't making Half-Life 3 instead of Episode 3. They could've chainged their minds, whithout telling anyone.
