PROBLEM

The save file is reported as corrupt after progressing through the career mode.

SOLUTION

We have identified that this only occurs if, after completing an R&D objective, you...

- Retire to the paddock via the Engineer (in the garage).
- Terminally damage your car and select retire to paddock.
- Get disqualified and select retire to paddock.

As long as you progress to the qualifying session before quitting the game this problem will not occur.

GFWL - andeify - i have all the aids off except driving line(corners) and gear/pit stops to auto, getting 1:59.063 on sakir in BMW-Sauber (first race on career) full race length, full race weekend

perfectkill, if i remember correctly, codemasters said with their current engine that they could only handle 16 cars without compromising performance online.They opted for 12 so that each team would be equally represented, so there would not be two ferraris and just onelotus on a full grid - such is the requierments of the f1 licence to portrait each team equally.
I did read that codemasters intends to have full grids available for f1 2011.
This game was developed in a very short period in order to get it ready before the end of the 2010 season, unfortunatley this means a few of these kinds of features are missing.

Im liking this game alot more than i anticipated, will try a 100 percent race when codemasters fix the puncture bug.

The PC industry bemoans piracy yet albeit off-line pirates will be playing this game as we speak. Yet all of us who have paid £25-£30 sit here awaiting a game that so far is 13 hours later than expected. Don't know who's fault it is but its shocking how two big companies such as valve can't unlock a game or codies don't have enough power or presence over steam to make them do it now surpasses me. Hopefully this is a message to Codies and any other game manufacture not to go through valve or make is pretty much valve exclusive.

This is just stupid! If they said the game was gana be released at 6pm GMT, keep it at that time on the store page. I watched the unlock last night on the store page, at 9pm it said 6hours till unlock, 9.30pm said 5 hours, 10pm went down to 4 hours, then straight down to 2 hours and at 11pm it was at 1 hour. This made me think that it would have been a midnight release!

Was up till 1.30am last night, went to bed, woke up at 11 thinking it would be online....how silly of me to think that. More than 12hours after due unlock, no such thing. Like me, many others are pissed off about this. Just say when the game is gana be unlocked once!! and stick to that damn time rather than misleading customers!!
