Just a heads up guys, UnitedOperations will officially be saying goodbye to ArmA II on the 21st October. Although i was not a member of the great TWC i have played many times on the servers and loved the way you guys ran the group, so much so that i started a similar group with a Linor Domination Server. What is the plan guys?? We have a group with 100+ ex-Members. I says that enough to make it happen and continue something like TWC. Instead of joining all different clan/ groups we should stay together and make a new start! We just need a small group of people that will help us start this again! Let's ducking unicorn TWC!

Well... crap.

TWC shutting down was not something I could have imagined in a million years. It did however close down which for me personally is kind of depressing.

You know, I would play on a computer that could barely even run Arma. It had an Nvidia 610 GPU, a 5-year old failing harddrive and so much cat-hair in it I was convinced it was a fire-hazard. I could barely even get 20 frames, but I did'nt care about that. I played a game that I liked and more importantly with a group of people that made the experience more than enjoyable.

So a big thanks to everybody who was involved in TWC regardless of their importance, and mostly Heaney for running the group for so long.

I'll miss the M-60 on Domi Taki..

Jester here. Not sure how many people would remember me, but I'm sure some of you would. I go on holiday for a month and look what happens; my favourite (albeit only that could stand me for any length of time) ArmA 2 community has all but died. I'd love to play ArmA 2 with you guys again at some point, because the 6-12 months I spent with you fine devils are some of my favourite gaming memories. For example when we charged into Zargabad, guns blazing and shooting many men, or when SOMEONE (you know who you are) crashed a Chinook on an Airfield on Celle and stranded us almost until the game ended.

I will miss TWC a lot.

TWC chris here.. been a long while i know not sure you'll remember me.. but sad to see TWC has died away, It's been over a year since i last logged in to the server.

Lots of good and bad times had but overall good memories and loved the new dynamic of people actually working together instead of just shooting on sight and asking questions later.

Still in contact with a couple of people from TWC but would still be interested in getting my MilSim back on!!
