Dear Friends,

Not much to say about March, we had a lot of server instability (2 HLstats resets) and some downtime. However, end of March our new Hardware arrived. Folks from Canada and America bounce around the 125 now instead of 200 pings, which is great! And even my ping went down, and I am on the LAN. (7->1).

However, last month we saw our forum activity was doubled with over 1500 posts, which is good.

We've also launched 2 PVK servers :D.

Monthly report, February

Dear Friends,

February was, well it was great. Statistics wise on the forums it was horrible, we did not even make 700 posts, while in April 2008 we managed 3400. Lets face it though, 700 certainly isn't bad. However member growth was not much.

Our EvolutionEnabled group has almost reached 100 members though, and I want to encourage everyone to keep inviting people, drag em in. Show them how awesome we are.

In february our Team Fortress 2 Servers have gotten really really active, we play almost every day and I am having great fun, and the number one spot of course. Over 800 Unique players have joined our Team Fortress 2 servers, and I have already seen some of 'em come back regularly! Over 24,000 kills have been made, incredible. Lets keep this up by providing a friendly steady environment.

Next month I want to keep focusing on keeping our servers active, revising and optimising and getting off with our clan SanityDisabled. and I want to introduce a new website and admin hour roster. This month I will also be looking into better server hardware and I want to transfer some of the server load onto the website, mostly SQL and stuff.

Lets keep being interactive with our players. Add them to your friends, add them to our group, guide them to our forums. Lets keep it up, if we don't we won't be able to beat april's record.

Even though I've had incredible amounts of fun the last several days, enough to fill up over 25 hours of gaming time. We haven't had this real opening party yet. So...

Next weekend. We'll have gaming madness on Friday night. Starting off with a good hour of CS:S Madness where we will battle to be crowned King of the server.
Afterwards we go hop on the train (if it hasn't blown up at CSS) Towards Team Fortress 2. Where Sigh will park his rocket launcher up zioN's ass claiming himself emperor of the server.
Then, to go out raging we'll hop on a versus campaign which is when Wormatsu will disappear from the internet, having unistalled and broken his entire rig after being smoked.

So, bring coke, bring chocolate, bring whatever the fuck you need to keep you hyperactive. Lets try to get everyone involved. Invite everyone you want because Friday night... Friday night we open with a smash!

PS: Knoxeh is only allowed if he promises not to moan about any of the games. Yes Knoxeh, I've only heard you say that CSS, TF2 and L4D2 are boring.

Le Grande Opening

Hello Evolvers,

In 5 days Learn2Play and this great community will exist for a year, on that very day, the 22nd Knox made the very first forum post. Although Learn2Play was initially founded by Wormatsu and Sigh, Wormatsu left after a short period of time. It was only to come back to the place where we want him, here. Sigh ploughed on with Team AnimeSquare, AnimeSquare being the community from which ashes Learn2Play rose up.

With a popular Zombie Panic Source server a Zombie Master server was later added. Team Fortress 2 was on and off. Ventrilo was introduced and even I M1dz is starting to lose her shyness. Looking back on the last year we've seen new additions to the very core: Hawke, Nethros, RizoR, Dash and last but certainly not least Man of the Dead, who was quick to find his way to Zombie Panic Admin.

Looking back on the last year makes me feel good. This great community with so many diverse people, a community willing to donate, a community willing to help. A community which will live for a very long time.

On to the future though, The official opening of EvolutionEnabled is the 22nd, but that won't stop us from celebrating and advertising! This is a call to all people to change their tag from - Learn2Play.org.uk to - EvolutionEnabled.net and join http://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/groups/evolutionenabled! Lets see if we can hit 100 members before the Grand Opening.

On to servers, Manic and I have been really busy reorganising his insanely messy server and installing my dedicated box. In our new community we'll upgrade our server arsenal to ridiculous numbers, insane popular servers will get hosted by professional and less popular unstable servers (unlikely to make any donations at all) will be hosted by Manic and me. Anyway to the server list:

4 Fistful of Frag servers
2 Zombie Master servers
2 Zombie Panic Source servers
1 The Specialists Roleplay server
2 Counter Strike Source servers
2 Team Fortress 2 servers

Fistful of Frag can be considered fully admined, all others however need active admins, that's why we will be opening Admin Applications soon.

Team AnimeSquare will come back, but under a different banner. We're thinking about EvolutionEnabled or Team EvolutionEnabled. Anyway, this was to keep you all updated.
