Realize the game is this bad because Gas Powered Games directed Dungeon Siege 1. Gas Powered Games had to share with Obsidian in Dungeon Siege 2. And Gas Powered Games could do nothing about how screwed up Dungeon Siege 3 was because they weren't able to take part in development.

I downloaded the demo the other day, and just booted it up for the first time today. The graphics are decent, but other then that it plays more like an Indie game then a third game in a very successfull series. Demo's generally show the best moments in a game, in order to target the largest audience. I was completly bored, and utterly disappointed, playing even the first part of this game.

Just played the demo and wondered why they expect DS-fans to buy this game since this has (almost) nothing to do with the Dungeon Siege games anymore. Guess it's more easy these days, to make money with console games, as it IS a pure console game. The mouse and camera controls are so lame (guess on a xbox controller they are fine). The gameplay is cheap - no health potions, just spheres to collect, same for mana - save positions - no inventar, just "the new collected item is everytime better than the older one so I just swap them"... Omg I can't believe what they've done to this game series.. It was a deep and detailfull pc game once, now it is a console button push hack and slay.
