This is an EXCELLENT, OUTSTANDING idea! I Strongly Advise This! But only in TF2 Beta or such. Still, Nevertheless, This is an amazing idea. When you get a drop you can choose between 3 items! Ingenuis! Please Valve Please, Make this Real in TF2 Beta!

Any word on getting an image for this group created yet? If not I could quickly make one up and put it on my Deviantart over the weekend? It would be the same idea of a slot machine with three items in the windows and a hat sitting in the payout area? I'm thinking a random wep, a hat/paint/tag and a mann co. crate.

Yes...I like this idea alot! If it gets rid of drity idlers gaining their wepons without trying and makes for a fun way to get what you want...I say this is greatly needed! As for the Avatar...I think an image of one of the classes looking up on a row of item choices would be cool! The slot Machine would also look nice but it should at least include a hat and two weapons or a hat a weapon and a tag or paint!

'd like to propose a notion- this idea is great, but if we want valve to make a change, they need to see not only a large pool of interest, but a large pool of community solutions (see-> no ep3 but tons of community hats) I propose that a database be formed where all interested can submit, refine, and comment on ideas for fixing the drop system. I further propose that this database be publicly viewable, and anyone can submit ideas, though only the OP (and any admins, if he chooses) can edit/ delete content.

May this notion be considered...
