Lempika and I can't make it tonight, so we only really have 4/5 people at most. You can still play together if you want of course, but there will be no event scheduled.

Good evening!

Ah, so we were going to have a competition with DNS, buuut due to not having enough players it didn't happen. We will be playing DNS in the future though, which kinda leads into...

Quite important, if everyone could find the time to go here - http://ozfortress.com/clancp.php?do=manage&clanid=1085 - then go to Manage Availability, then put in what times of the week you can most likely play, that would be awesome. This would make finding times were we can all play easier. Once you've done that, post here so I can keep track of who's done what. :3 Just put in the times that are best for you as of now, and maybe in a month I'll post a reminder to update it.

Unless some sort of apocalypse happens, there are only two more weeks until school is over for most of us, and that's when srs bsns will happen. Until then, practice ;D And also look at the new discussion, with a list of things you can look at if you are looking for more comp info.

Any questions, complaints, suggestions etc. can go to Splerp, or anyone in the group. Or the discussions.

We have a new (and first) sub who can play scout, demo, medic and spy for both HL and 6v6.

This super amazing person is Spyro, and he is now a part of all of us, deep inside.

Sorry about the lack of updates, or really anything for a while now.

In two weeks time school will be over for at least 3 of us, Lempika might be back, and we can start going srs bsns finally. :D

Just want to do a roll call (it's not really a roll call but shh) just so I know that everyone knows we're going to be doing stuff soon. Basically, just put a comment in this announcement when you see it, and after a day or so I'll ask anyone who hasn't posted yet whether they've seen it or not.

Sorry about letting the practices slip, when you post here maybe you could confirm sunday and tuesday/thursday are still ok for you for practices? Since we're starting off with HL, this applies to you too, HL players ;D

Anyway, sorry again for the not-organising-awesome-stuff, and thanks for reading.

Lots of discussions that should be looked at in... discussions.

As we are going into HL first, everyone in the group as of now should be trying to make it to practices. There's a discussion you can post in if you won't be able to make one though, so use that when you can. Otherwise, tell me (or anyone if you want) and I can post for you.

Try to get into the habit of checking the group for new discussions etc., and talk on them. ;D Then we know you're looking at the discussions. This isn't neccessary of course, but it would be nice.

Any questions, complaints, comments, suggestions, arguments, etc. please contact Splerp or Lempika (even though he isn't here lololol), reply to this announcement, or create / use a discussion in the discussion section.

We're going to play Highlander before getting into 6v6, as a sort of step into 6v6. If anyone isn't happy with this, we could try and organise some 6v6 matches too.

I think we should focus on team communication during practices. We should be practising our individual roles seperately a little anyway during other times, so these practices should just be for things we can only do as a team. Dey linked to a good thread about communication (in the discussion section), and I'd recommend everyone read it at some point just to get a good idea about what each class should be saying. (under Comp Info).

Lempika won't be able to join the practices for a while or play comps (cos srs studyin), so we can either wait until he's free or we could call in a substitute. Pretty sure most of us will be busy around this time of the year though, so we might not be doing comps until next year.

I still need to ask some people about their preferred HL classes, namely Eola, Ryuuk and Epsilon. Should have it sorted out soon, sorry about that. D:

I thought we should start getting organised in terms of having our team registered on the Ozfortress site[ozfortress.com], which is what we'll probably be doing most of our comp playing through.

I just registered the clan to Ozfortress, so all you have to do is:

1. Create an account here[ozfortress.com].
2. Join the team by clicking on "Join" next to our team name on this list[ozfortress.com] (press ctrl+F and search for "downStream).
3. Connect your steam account to your Ozfortress account by adding it here[ozfortress.com].

That's all for now, this doesn't mean we'll be under any pressure to play any time soon but it puts us one step closer to starting.

If you have any questions you should post them in this announcement.
