Aw :( this is the first and only RoK server I've ever played on. Some of you guys were starting to feel like a bit of a virtual family. If anyone decides to start their own server or if as a group we move to a new one, let me know

Hey guys! You will all be sad, but wth the news that we received today, the game going back into "re-modeling"... focus being unity 4 to 5... no updates for a while, and the hacking going bad, we decided not to renew the server. The host was getting ddosed, we were having issues just rebooting the server itself, and it was getting bad. To top that off, even though we were having fun with so many of you guys, too many forgot the pain it was for us to actually have fun and admining at the same time. So until further notice, ROK is closed.

Developers saying game will be updated to add EAC in the next hour so that's good for anti-hacking. Is there a timescale on when the server will be updated?

Unfortunately, it's a problem that will persist everywhere until ROK fixes it. People just have to be patient, it's part of an alpha.

Sorry, but the hacking has gotten too annoying. I died late last night due to someone picking their way into my base. I spent today building my base up to help ensure that would not happen. Airlock system, bigger walls, etc., yet when I came back from taking a break, I logged in to find that I was killed again. There was no evidence of people climbing in and I had an iron door airlock. Everything I put in my chest was still there, as well as my smelters. As I logged on to find my self dead, I also started seeing in chat that people were also randomly dying. I'm sorry, but I'll play again once this hacking situation is taken care of.

Due to the fact that several glitches have been found, I am announcing that there will be a server wipe today. From now on, every time the game will update and they will suggest a server wipe, the server will wipe completely. This will avoid people abusing glitches. I will keep you updated on the time, but probably around 5-6pm, giving everyone the time to start over tonight.

It will filter anyone with slightly changed game folder, make sure you are not using any language packs or sound packs or you will be seen as a hacker. (its a vague filter but it works as a quickly implementable temp solution for the hackers till VAC and EAC are implemented)
