正如b站排名第一的长篇所述，结局是华丽的，在我看来，的确如此，没有返回星球与大家一起度过余生，也没有白白在战场上殉情，最后是打破了"规则"，人们终于能有自由，突破了鸟笼，开始繁殖，也是后面广和02的转世的契机，这种精神上的爱情，我觉得略胜一筹；相对于漫画(58话-60话)，漫画的结局是打败了叫龙女王"01"，然后直接就表白生活了，这样是可以出第二季的，感觉吧，是不是当时想出第二季留下几笔，想不到工作室解散了?(我也不清楚)

有一点贯穿整个剧情的点，广开的FRANXX名为"鹤望兰"，它有2个花语(蕴意)：第一个花语是无论何时何地，永远不要忘记你爱的人在等你，传说两个相爱的人，女孩在等待男孩期间去世，男孩将此花送给路人让他们不要忘记家里的爱人。第二个花语是能飞向天堂的鸟，能把各种情感、思恋带到天堂，借物喻人，暗示着广与02那至死不渝般的爱情，与同伙青春期生机盎然的恋爱，犹如万华镜每一部代表性花，蕴意不同，贯穿全文，引人深思。

02和广无论经历多少次生死离别，多少次转世与邂逅，他们命中注定，依然能走到一起，他们不再害怕失去对方了，就算死亡将至、记忆被清除，他们相信，下辈子，还是能相见..如果不能，"白鹿予水仙，今生无缘，来世相见"无法相见的这辈子，也依然会惦记着他/她，直到下辈子相见。(这个设定很像美少女万华镜5的莲华与深见，但是转世了好几次才真正得到爱恋的。)
