CPH Wolves add valde & mertz

The Danish organization announced the signings of Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså and Daniel "mertz" Mertz.

After Nicolai "HUNDEN"Petersen and Martin "PERCY" Wessel left CPH Wolves more than a week ago, the organization started looking for replacements and they revealed today that they settled on Daniel "mertz" Mertz and Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså.

Vangså previously played Tricked, who now have Wessel and Petersen in their ranks, while Mertz joins after playing for another Danish team, Alpha.

mertz is starting to make a name for himself in the Danish scene

Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander was optimistic about the new players, saying he believed that the new pieces provide the firepower that the team needs. He also revealed that Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer is now the in-game-leader of the squad.

"It was time for changes in Copenhagen Wolves and we believe we found the perfect two to fill out Percy and Hundens spots. We asked Hunden if he wanted to be our coach and IGL at the same time, but he rather wanted to play himself, which I understand. Snappi is our new IGL." Rossander said in his statement.

"Our two new players will be mertz and valde which we have been playing with since Hunden and percy's departure, our chemistry is nice and we believe they got the firepower which we needed. I am sure we can archieve great things with this new lineup. I want to thank both Hunden and Percy for their time in Copenhagen Wolves and I hope they will be happy with their new home."

With the addition of these two players, CPH Wolves' roster consist of:

Danni "smF" Dyg
Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer
Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså

CPH Wolves sign unu.AiN

Copenhagen Wolves have announced that they have ventured again into competitive Counter-Strike with the acquisition of the team known as unu.AiN.

The Danish organisation's last foray into the Counter-Strike scene was extremely short lived as their team, featuring three Norwegian and two Swedish players, were a victim of their own success.

A semi-final run at DreamHack Open London raised eyebrows, but then the team fell apart when star member Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad was sold to G2, with Ruben "RUBINO" Villarroel signing for dignitas shortly afterwards.

CPH Wolves have now decided to go back to their roots by signing the all-Danish team known as unu.AiN, featuring well-known players like Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander, Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen and Danni "smF" Dyg.

"Copenhagen Wolves have always been the place to stay at in Denmark," Petersen told CPH Wolves' website. "We are happy to finally come to an agreement with Copenhagen Wolves for 2016.

"Gla1ve and I wanted to get back together and we finally did it after 3 years, and once again in Copenhagen Wolves. 2016 will be hard for us, but qualifying for Assembly in Finland as a start is always good, and Copenhagen Games is coming up in the start of April.

"We are going participate in a lot of online tournament like ESEA premier, and hopefully we will win some qualifiers to get to some of the bigger tournaments in 2016."

The Danish team, who were eliminated in the fifth round of the IEM Katowice Qualifier #1 by FlipSid3 Tactics, will compete in Operation Kinguin #2, which kicks off on Tuesday.

CPH Wolves unveil new team

Copenhagen Wolves have announced that they have made another foray into competitive Counter-Strike by signing a new Nordic team.

CPH Wolves had been actively searching for a new team to support since the disbandment of their Danish roster, which would go on to form the basis of SK Gaming's division.

Instead of taking a step into the unknown, CPH Wolves signed three players from LGB, Ruben "RUBINO" Villarroel, Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad and Morten "zEVES" Vollan. The transfer process was facilitated by the fact that both organisations are owned by the same company, Diglife.

Rounding out the roster are two Swedish players, Erik "zende" Sundeqvist and Simon "twist" Eliasson, both of whom were on the market after parting ways with Property at the weekend.

"We are extremely excited to once again return to the roots of the Copenhagen Wolves, as we venture back into Counter-Strike: Global Offensive," CPH Wolves CEO Jakob Lund Kristensen said in a statement.

"Since our last tenure, the game has seen an immense growth and we feel it is a natural and needed step for our company.

"Though our emphasis and priorities have always been on the development of Danish talents, we feel that this particular lineup is simply too talented, too hungry and too skilled to not become a part of our wolfpack.

"They share both the dedication and determination that we have been looking for and we have honoured this with a longterm deal that will provide them with the best possible circumstances to live up to their lofty potential."

The Norwegian team will make their first appearance for CPH Wolves tonight, at 21:00, in the closed qualifier for DreamHack Open London. They are also due to compete in CEVO Professional, in which they will face off against teams like Kinguin, mousesports and Titan.

CPH Wolves sign unu.AiN

Copenhagen Wolves have announced that they have signed unu.AiN as their CS:GO division.

The Danish team had been searching for a new home since parting ways with myXMG last month following differences with the organisation regarding the future.

Later that month, the team attended the TaKeTV International under the banner of Reason Gaming as a one-off deal and finished runners-up to Virtus.pro in the tournament, picking up a $3,000 cheque.

Danish team join Copenhagen Wolves

Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen's men have now linked up with Copenhagen Wolves, who had been looking for a team to support after parting ways with Jacob "Pimp" Winneche's squad, who now represent dignitas.

"We are very happy to come to an agreement with Copenhagen Wolves for the next six months," Petersen said.

"The new strategy of Copenhagen Wolves shows a lot of potential for the coming year which we look forward being a part of.

"The next six months are going to be very busy for the team. We are going to participate in as much as we can and hopefully qualify for a few of the big events.

"Our main focus will be to qualify for the 1st major at ESL One Katowice while we are certain to take part in Denmarks biggest event, Copenhagen Games, in April."
