О Custom Content Association

Welcome to the CCA

The Custom Content Association (CCA) is a Steam-based community built around supporting custom content for PC games. We welcome those creating the mods, as well as those interested in playing them. Our goals for this group are:

-Inform members of latest news, reviews, and previews!
-Recommend quality mods for quality players!
-Organize games, lobbies, and communities for support towards custom content!

By doing so, we hope to aid the PC community by recognizing all quality mods and add-ons. If you would like us to post a preview of your work, please feel free to message one of the admins when they are available. We will be happy to organize games to help modders advertise their work, as well as entertain our members.

We are open for recommendations from our members for additional games and CCA suggestions.

L4D2 Tournament Now - Go to Chat Room

Everyone who is participating must go to the group's chatroom to get your name registered. If we somehow do not get enough people, we will just conduct a regular game to play. The game will be in exactly 50 minutes.

Left 4 Dead 2 Tournament Friday!

We will be having our first tournament this Friday for L4D2. I will schedule an event an hour or so before to remind people to participate. If you wish to participate in this tournament, please be in the chatroom whenever I put up the event on Friday to get your name registered. It will most likely be in the evening after everyone gets off of work, to ensure that everybody can join. All of this can also be found on our website, www.customcontentasc.webs.com

These will be the rules for the tournament:

-All teams will be randomized.
-Committing suicide on your team will get you disqualified, not your entire team.
-Friendly fire (on purpose) will get you disqualified.
-Being idle for 2 minutes will get you kicked. Over 3 minutes will get you disqualified if you rejoin.
-Not working as a team is limited to the team's decision to kick you or not.
-There will be at least one admin per team to ensure rules are kept.
-Any additional problems should be reported to me (Mortuus) if they arise.

The guidelines for the tournament are as follows:

-The team that wins will move on to the next round.
-If a team member must leave, he/she will be replaced with another member waiting to play.
-The final team to win will be announced on the group's page and website.

Praelium, Mortuus, Mendax, if you are there, my computer has completely crashed, but, my dad took it back to his friend who created the computer, so im like a guy in a waiting room hoping the operation is a success, until then... ill be playing MAG on my account Sgt_Balenseifer on Playstation 3

For Gmod it's more or less just servers that we will be hosting instead of actual custom content itself.

But why does GMOD need custom content? Custom official content, I mean. With all the damn mods around...

Greetings,

Thank you for the invite to your group here Mortuus. ~Looks Great~ It’s really nice to meet ya all. I map for CSS with Source SDK. I have not been mapping for all that long now. I am still learning as this is a hobby of mine. I like to map with a Sci-Fi / Space theme of some sort. If you have any ideas or pointers sure like to talk with you. Have a great day.. God Bless,
