I've got an idea for rebalancing the ridiculous overheal potential of the Boston Bulldog.

Damage vulnerability while overhealed.

This way, Scouts have a much harder time maintaining that overheal in the first place, making them easier to take out, even while they have stupid crazy overheal. One Scout that killed me had 223 HP. That ain't right without some other nerf.

I think it's the fact that it's current nerfs are negligible
I say NO healing from packs and 90% less healing from beams

A scout who can practically only rely on his own damage output for heals
Is a major change from
A scout that gets a slight bit less healing from stuff and gets good healing from damage output

Not to mention the survival gear completely negates the biggest downside.

Replace Heavy with any visible enemy, and you get the idea.

but especially heavy. hes slow easy to hit and hard for him to track a good scout

Since it's now based off the Rescue Ranger, here are the damage numbers.... (btw the damage number is based on point blank)

0 Metal: 30 damage
50 Metal: 38 damage
100 Metal: 45 damage
150 Metal: 53 damage
200 Metal: 60 damage
250 Metal: 68 damage
300 Metal: 75 damage
350 Metal: 83 damage
400 Metal: 90 damage

btw, the Rescue Ranger normally does 60 damage at point blank

Random bullet spread fires 1 shot STRAIGHT down the middle and the REST spread.
so if your tracking properly atleast that 1 shot should hit.

Yeah, after a couple of hours of testing I also noticed it. It was something to do with the custom attribute that involved metal increasing/decreasing the damage. But now that has been fixed! It's now a resuce range-based projectile, so with only 1 bullet... the damage now scales correctly.

How does 1 bullet make it scale correctly?
The problem was that you would always hit atleast 1 bullet.
So you just made it worse.

I haven't played with the new Hole Puncher, but the old one I remember was too powerful with the Gunslinger. The clip size and reload speed didn't matter because you could usually deal enough damage to kill someone with one or two shots, so honestly I'm glad that it was sort of nerfed.

Unless they did change the projectile type from hitscan to projectile, then I'd like that reverted.

For grim charge it would be nice to know how many boosts you have without holding it.
