It's just not healthy, making the weapon both weak and strong, but "after making a kill" is rarely a great way to balance (see you Maxime)
That also maybe why that melee/shotgun for pyro is so unpopular

Actually that's a great stat. It gives you a weakness, but gives a powerful buff if you can overcome said weakness

Perhaps we can throw in something like the heat meter for the Heavy Artillery Minigun. The longer you have Maxine spun up, the more vulnerability and less damage you do.

There is a planned re-work for it, how about this:

WHILE ACTIVE:
(+) No movement speed penalty while spun up
(+) +10% bonus primary ammo on wearer (NOTE: This incrases the ammo from 200 to 220... if also using the "Survival Gear", then you would have 275 ammo)
(-) 5 ammo consumed per second while spun up
(-) Cannot pick up ammo packs dropped by killed players
(-) No ammo from dispensers

(NOTE: I am unsure if this should be added) This weapon deploys & holsters 25% slower


My main idea is that this weapon is all about ammo consumption to trade for the no movement speed penalty.

Too weak 5 ammo per second is a very strong nerf, And being unable to get more in almost every way is worse. We should make him use a heat meter while spun up, that increases damage vulnerability over time along with moving faster all the way up to stock move speed instead of instant stock move speed while spun up.

heat meter.Over time when heavy is spun up, he will increase move speed from normal spun up move speed to unspun heavy move speed over a period of 5 seconds. Each of these 5 seconds increases incoming damage by 5%

We start small with only this stat. Other stats will be added if necessary/wanted

Some weapons, such as brief negotiator and the newest heavy minigun have lighting issues on some maps. Specifically turbine for brief negotiator, and snowy coast for minigun

Take ##% more damage while actice

Medic survival gear buff
Medic move speed increased to that of an unboosted bfb scout
Has a constant lvl 1 dispenser heal beam on himself and nearby teammates instead of 5 extra health regen
Causes medics self rege to heal one health every #/# of a second based on certain circumstances
Normally 2 health per second
One every half second
Normally 3 per second
Once every 1/3 second
Etc

This buff would help medics tagainst dot effects, as 1 health every half second is better than 2 health a second. 3 health in 1.5 seconds compared to 2 in the same time.
It's a minor,but useful buff

Chiropractor's Chameleon change
Uber causes user and heal target to be fully invisible with the default cloak's damage resist for 8 seconds
Semi-transparency shared with heal target
Heal target can attack while semi transparent and fully invisible without losing the effects

Medispencer remake
Refills 10% of your heal targets offhand ammo per second
##% slower heal rate
##% slower over heal build rate
Uber doubles ammo regeneration, heal targets reload speed and fire rate, and causes reloaded ammo to not diminish the amount of offhand ammo,

Uber can be applied to a target, then the uber will last on the target even if the medic stops healing them, until the uber ends

Fire rate increase does not affect miniguns, flareguns, melee, or flamethrower, causing the uber to be less efficient on heavies, pyros, and demoknights, to balance it's utility

We shoiuld try x2 as a thing

Engineer build PDA
(+) buildings can be healed and ubered by any healing method
(+)positive effects on user are applied to his buildings
(+)metal,ammo,and teleport recharge cann be restored by ammo boxes or other dispensers
(-)negative effects on user are applied to buildings
(-)buildings take double damage from crits and 10% more damage from minicrits
(-)buildings can be bled, set on fire, and trigger any on-hit actions such as healing, speed boost, etc

Things such as extra metal supply, health, health regen, or damage boost in engi will apply to his buildings. So do crits and minicrits, which cause the sentry to deal double damage on crits and 10% more damage on minicrits
