The weapon is already being considered op as players confuse overpowered with annoying. The lack of cloak is an intended nerf. The enemy does not hear the backstab anyways

It makes a crit noise on backstab. Now that I think about it, perhaps it should deal the 3 damage on backstab, remove the crit noise, and go from there. The main complaint with the old one was that there was absolutely no indication you had been stabbed, while the new one alerts the person a bit too much.

The receiver of the backstab does not hear the critical hit. I know this for a fact.

That's a bug. Scout is not supposed to receive overheal from any source other than his bulldog when using the bulldog.
that's why it's bad.
