Yep, that the point ^^
It's the same for demo when you replace the "ammo restrainer melee" by any other
So you need to have a loadout slot with no restrained ammo

you can also equip the rocket or sticky jumper to have bonus ammo

it's funny and op to kill some class like sniper, medic, spy, engineer

backup doesn't heal, it gives you damage resistance and crit immunity, meaning the mark for death doesn't matter at all

Not true. The Force-A-Nature fires twice as fast as the Stock Scattergun, yet it only has a 50% faster firing speed.

In it's current state, the Supplies for Demoman interferes greatly with the playstyle of Demoknight and Sticky Demos. Putting it to the slot, like the Wee Booties, would allow for that problem to be removed. Plus it only seems fair, since it would tie in with the "sacrafice a weapon for better stats" of the booties.

in my opinion you should be able to equip it in either slot

It's a model overriding, if you don't have the model you will have the stock weapon, that actually the case ^^
