Phantom pain (sniper rail gun primary)

BULLET STATS
(o) fully charged shoot leave a trail for 1 second
(+) bullet go trough player
(+) trail deal 5 damage every 0.1 second (max +50 damage)
(-) -50% damage (only on bullet)
(-) charge don't increase damage (25 damage on direct hit everytime)
(-) no headshoot

ACTIVE SKILL
(o) kill increase by 25%
(o) 5 damage = +1%
(+) on activation : +99% charge rate
(+) while active : generate 2x more charge
(-) active duration is 4 second, can be improved by damage

It's a group-destroyer weapon

DONE Each continue attack on same enemy will increase damage by 10% (Max 100%)
DONE Airblast cost decrease by 10% (or more)
-Medic that healing you are killed : (Put custom stats here)
DONE Critical can instantly kill player
-Critical is normally like Minicrit

Actual sniper are not so played by player who still pref basic sniper

Manncannon can't one shoot on headshoot
Milk-shoot is support (still my favorite)
same for the bow

here is some suggestion who could be enjoyed (maybe)

Ranged Slaugther

(+) on headshoot : +75% charge rate for next shoot
(+) +50% headshoot damage (225 damage, enougth to kill everyone)
(+) on kill : quick reload (like +75% reload rate)
(-) -66% ammo (10 ammo)
(-) -25% charge rate
(-) -25% reload rate

Agent Sniper

(+) cloak while scoping (1.5 sec to cloak)
(+) gain speed boost on kill
(+) +15% damage while fully charged
(-) -80% movement speed while scoping
(-) +25% damage vulnerability while scoping
(-) -10% charge rate
(-) -25% no scope damage

No-scoper (i love the no-scope style)

(+) scope begin with max charge
(+) on hit : gain mini-crit (second shoot will deal massive damage)
(-) +75% decharge rate (begin decharge 0.5 sec after scope)
(-) reversed charge rate
(-) headshoot at full charge only

Eye of the eagle (maybe reduce to 90%/40% the damage)

(+) can see enemy health
(+) headshoot deal 99% of ennmy max health (just don't kill fully healed target)

This gaitling need a new gameplay, but need to be a mid/close range weapon

(+) each hit slow ennmy by 5%, can be stacked, duration of 1 second if not refreshed
(+) if slow reach 100%, it stun for 1 second and reset stats
(-) -60% damage
(-) -50% reload rate
(-) slow only at close range (800µ would be fine)

This wont kill, but allow you to stop assault from scout/demo-man
for stun, need 20 bullet hit on 25, it's hard to perform

All my posts are suggestions, also do you realize that asking such vague questions does not help development and falls under more complaints rather that a better stat suggestion?

lets make some balanced stats for this

---- PROJECTILE ----
(+) infinite ammo
(+) deal laser damage
(+) +100% range
(-) bullet leave a tracer
(-) 1 attack by second

---- DAMAGE ----
(+) no damage fall off
(+) each hit deal 30/45/60 damage depending on lvl
(-) -80% damage against buildings
(-) can't be crit boosted

---- HEALTH ----
(+) +100% max health (300/350/400 health)
(-) no resistance against melee/bullet/flame

projectile explanation, the bullet CAN be dodge if you move fast enougth
You can easly see the tower due to tracer
this Turret is more a sniper usefull for Offense or Corridor

damage explanation, the sentry wont destroy other regular sentry (or take a looong time)

health explanation, all damage can destroy the sentry, and is harder to heal/repair due to is high health

Pls don't judge this to quick due to his range, it's harder to keep alive than other sentry
but have a better resist against sapper
The tower can also be killed from close range due to her slow attack rate

I don't think forcing someone to do something is a very good idea.


This includes having to run to the spawn room to restock on metal.

Engi just have to stay near to his sentry while using this gun, or the sentry will run out of ammo, that what I wanted to say
Now, When I play with Sentry booster, I build my sentry, then go on front lane with sentry booster, no ammo, but a sniper sentry to assist my kill :P
It's a bit powerfull I would put

(+) +50% sentry attack rate
(+) +50% range
(-) -40% damage

to use even more ammo
it's just a suggest but if you use repair node you can still wander for kill with your shotgun while your sentry is doing a slaugther
