Partical Promoters could be great, but your supposed to protect him not to get him dead :/

It already gains charge pretty quickly, it doesn't give overheal so your pocket is more likely he'll die, if he gets hit by crits or a large ammount of damage, pop your shield and pull out your crit ready sword and strike down the bastard that thought killing the patient first was a good idea

Hum for me a battle medic would use a Blutsauger and don't give too much importance to the medigun, like vaccinator or quick fix
And the famus Ubersaw

Damage Taken = Tank godnes
Damage dealt = Electroshock
If you feel like the Tank is too op : make it become more tank like
Add -10% movement speed ^^
