hello,

me and some friends are making a mod for tf2 but what we want is also to get our hands on the knowledge to create a weapon with own viewmodel and model. could anyone explain to me how it works?

Mod? Did you mean a Sourcemod plugin? If so, the source code of CW3 is publicly available.
Download the CW3 Starter Kit[forums.alliedmods.net] and take a look at cw3.sp.
