Possible way to import custom animations?
A guy on the Discord weapon discussion chats brought up this idea for importing custom animations and shifting class weapons animations between classes. All credit goes to the Discord user Scrap. If anyone can test this out on their own time, this would be interesting.

Guys, I've had an idea.
This is more for the people who work on the server though.
(Or anyone who can animate)
Weapons like the FAN have animations which have names unique to that classes animations set, if there was a custom animation... Say for the Engineer, the animations could be redone and compiled via engineer_animations.mdl, and made a downloadable file (maybe mod since any downloading plugin probably won't work), and then any FAN-based weapon could be used by the Engineer without an issue.

This could work given there are some guns that fit on one class with reload animations found in another class, but I dunno if that's better than just importing custom animations that came with the guns on the workshop submissions.

Then again, I'm not expert in animation nor good doing it; so who knows if this can actually work

Cut me some slack m8. I only found out you existed after I had to move back home to my fried potato internet where I couldn't play TF2 no more. I don't know your particular quirks yet!
