-Getting Your Steam ID

First off, you need to find your Steam ID. To do this, start up Counter-Strike: Source, and join any server. When you get in, press the key (~) to open the console, and type in “status”.

Hit enter, and you should see a list of players, followed by other information. Find yourself in this list, and then look to the right to find your Steam ID which will be in the format

STEAM_X:X:XXXXXXX
