Hi there,
i have recently come to the point where I have accepted that the general layout really doesn't lead anywhere. I have a few more ideas on how to work on the design of the second version of the map but there always were the same issues with the overall design.
After releasing the second version of the map I have become feedback from players (mostly on a friends stream - That was really fun Maky). And I reworked larger part which till today I haven't released. But there was still the same problem with the overall map layout. Mainly there only being 3 (actually 2) entrances to the area where the hostages are placed in. This allows for not that many strategies. A lot of very popular maps allow for variety in strategies and this layout limits itself to much and that's why the elements of counter-strike that I like at the game. That's why I ultimately stopped at working on this map.
I'll probably delete this map in a few days and probably nobody will miss them.

Hello there,
The sidemissions project created by iKlikla you can read more about it here https://medium.com/sidemissions/what-is-sidemissions-ee104d1579e7 or at https://sidemissions.net/ probably can use a lot of playtesters as the process of making the maps starts out. So please if you enjoy half-life 2 an you own either the orange box or I think at least hl 2 and ep1 come over and support this project.
As for me since I was asked to leave I'll continue de_cite and cs_tyrnstn and start to focus a bit more on visuals this time around as well as I'm working on a unannounced unreal engine 4 project I'd still love to see giving the side missions team some support.
