Controller Friendly Games / Controller Supported Games

Discussion and listing of good games with Partial, Native, and Full Controller Support. The days of controlling the majority of PC Games using only a mouse and keyboard never existed. Devs and gamers need to realize this.

Because it's the year 2015 / 2016 - PC Gamers have been using joysticks, gamepads, and controllers for over 30 years! We're not asking that the Mouse and Keyboard be abolished, we just want the option to play games using any and ALL control methods that make sense based on the gameplay mechanics.

Gamers should be able to use the control method which is most comfortable to them, whether it's a mouse, keyboard, controller - or a combination of each.

There are far too many games that have been released (or are being worked on) that could / should include even partial controller support.

This group is for anyone who enjoys the freedom of gaming on a PC and would like to see more options and settings in their games. Controller Support is just a small part in deliverying a user-friendly experience that ALL gamers can enjoy. Recommendations will be for games that are fun and play well with a controller or gamepad.


Point & Click Adventure Games (though, there's no reason why it couldn't be an option)

Some Real-Time Strategies (competitive multiplayer RTS's)

Cow Clicker Games (casual games that depend on quickly clicking on sprites or images)


Almost Everything else!

During an era of gaming when games such as XCom: Enemy Unknown, Elite Dangerous, ARK, and even Killing Floor 2, all come with some sort of controller support, there is no real excuse as to why other games out there can't include the option of controller support.

Triple-A devs and Indie devs alike need to start smartening up, because giving gamers more options is win / win for everyone.
