there's also a chance that somebody already posted a similar problem with yours; try digging through the topics if you have the time. you might find your answer that way as well

ok im intrested to start playing...i play chiv online as well atm...but i was a hardcore player of the original renegade. I installed game and i like what i see but can only play single player...multi i get an error. once i get that resolved id like to join ur commmunity if possible, thanks.
