Insider information from reddit forums suggests a high probability of L4D3 receiving an official announcement in less than a week from now, during this year's Halloween event of Steam.

Along with it, Source 2 might get an official public showcase. The official Souce Engine site currently redirects to Valve Software's main page, which is one of the remaining proofs that are still available.

No other prooflinks will be attached because they no longer exist, so don't get overly hyped about this. It might turn out to be another fake or just a baseless rumour.

Considering the fact that they postponed Steam Machines to 2015, it's curious to know what they have planned for this year's Cologne expo[www.gamescom-cologne.com].

Most of us gave up after the recent disappointing E3. Nonetheless, L4D3 might not be a perspective of distant future after all. August is not too far away, so stay tuned!

Yahoo! Finance Australia analysts have conducted a professional industry research of the upcoming E3. One of their best bets is that L4D3 will be announced at Sony's pre-E3 conference, which happens to be scheduled for today, 9th June, at around 7 PM CET/CST.
