I will not buy this game, because It don't follow the Personal Computers values: freedom and extensability. It feels to me like a bad port of a console game. A console game is good if is easy to use, plug and play. Is a different thing, and what make a game a good console game may make it a very very bad PC game. Here we have a game that is almost a insult to all PC gamers.

It has better matchmaking that automaticly connects you to a low ping server and you can make private servers so only your friends can join

Modern Warfare 2 has now had it's final nail in the coffin. Read this http://arstechnica.com/gaming/news/2009/11/pc-modern-warfare-2-its-much-worse-than-you-thought.ars - No leaning, no console, no mods, no dedicated servers and only 9v9 maps. Forget MW2, move on.

I'm tired of hearing people say they will pay the extra $10. You guys go ahead and pay that extra $10, soon enough all PC games will be $60. There is no reason why this game should cost more then any other PC game before it (other than Activision wanting more money and knowing that customers WILL buy it despite being overpriced).

As soon as I found out about this whole lack of dedicated server thing I immediately cancelled my preorder. I'm glad to say that money then went towards pre-ordering L4D2, and eventually purchasing Borderlands.

I'm with you cal5000. I think we have a ton of people who feel the same way. Lets get this group going and we will submit it to IW and show them we will not be purchasing this game unless this changes.

Yeah Im not paying more money for hardware and software AND the game only to get less content than I got for the provious version.


Not buying MW2 until we get our dedicated servers back--consoles blow when the host can dump on purpose or by accident and ruin the gaming experience.



Id be willing to pay $10 more for dedicated servers, but until its availbable I wont spend anything on MW2--theres too many other games out there.
