I play a random map and a random difficulty with three other players who want to try out for a slot on the team, the best player gets on the team. Once there are enough people, teams can compete. In competitions, teams of four play a map on the same difficulty, and at the end take a screenshot of their scoreboard. The overall score of the team is decided in kills, time done, downs, etc. The worst team member's score is dropped. I would add up the scores and the team with the highest overall score would win.
