Attention Banzai Members! The issue with Greylisting has been resolved!!! You see, the damage popup mutator was bad. It has now been updated to allow for full perkin'. Next up: spectator saucers.

OK so things have been changing again, and now there is a dedicated public Banzai server for all to enjoy. The private server will go down, but we can always add a password for closed games on special occasions. In the meantime, point your zombie killing apparati to IP: 108.174.57.144

Oh noes! It appears that although perks are leveling fine, the map achievements are not taking on Banzai Server. We are aware of the problem and working towards resolution :D Probably this means I will switch hosts. If anyone has any preferences let me know, but for now I am thinking Fragnet. We'll see if Gameservers can resolve the issue. Ping me or reply to discuss.

Just added this guide for those who need tips. Most Banzai Squad members know this already, but I'll post it here to help the future generation of Banzais! Enjoy:


Wow kiting is srs business huh? This kite master bot will help you out :D
Ryo Rules when Kiting: Revision 1.2
(This goes pretty much for KF or most games with running abilities)

1. If all possible, try to kill mobs in this order: (given if they are present and CLOSEST to you)
FP>siren>crawler>gorefast>husk>stalker>clot>bloat>SC

2. Take cover! The best defense is not to get hit at all, in kf or irl :D
If you're a zerk and hear husks, hide behind something or dodge. Side to side daniel san! Everyone else stay ranged... guns are ranged weapons...keep it that way :D

3. Opportunity! Kiting is not about fleeing, it is about gaining distance in order to overpower your opponent. If a zombie is by himself, that's an opening. Kill him. If you think you can kill that sc before the sirens or husks turn that corner. Go for it. Smaller maps, kill fewer mobs, Larger maps, go nuts! And just in real apocolaypse or surrounded by a bunch of guys from Montana, fight them always in a single file!


4. Lastly, if you're not sure about something, run (or tactical withdrawal). That way you don't "panic" and can think clearly and quickly on your next move while not being pummeled. Use the buddy system. Multiple brains are sometimes better than one :D

5. Press Q! Always! Yes even at 99. And press it again, so you know what recharge it's at and to time properly. (e.g. to stay and fight or flee). I mean, what good are you to yourself or to the team if you're dead?

*of course nothing ever fits in a nice clean time table, so use your brain and improvise the everchanging
